Susan Polonus Mucha and her husband, Edgardo, of 44 years live in Augusta, Ga. and Kiawah Island, S.C., with their two rescued dogs. She is the mother of four and fun grandmother of one. Susan is a former emergency room nurse and holds a master's degree in writing popular fiction from Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. She currently teaches English composition at Augusta State University and is working on her third novel. Susan gives writing workshops, talks and readings, does book signings, and dances the tango upon request.
