Rob Freedman lives in Portland, OR with his wife Beverly. A high school and college English teacher for many years, he now devotes his time to writing and walking along the Pacific. His work has appeared recently in Drash, Tikkun, and Portland Magazine. His one man show, Forty Years in the Desert, includes material that appears in this novel.
