Will My eBook Look Exactly Like My Print Book?

If you're hiring a professional, the answer to this is most likely a qualified yes.  The page starts/ends won't be the same, and some formatting elements won't/can't be the same (like visual poetry).  If you're making the eBook yourself from a Word file, the answer is, "probably not."  Why?  Because Word, or any word-processor, for that matter, can't "carry" or embed fonts, like a properly-made eBook can do.  That's just one reason. So, if you used Papyrus Chapter heads and Caslon body font in your print book, your Word file won't be able to get those to work in your eBook.  That's one reason why a commercially-built eBook is a worthwhile investment.

What about Images and Captions?

Your eBook's images and captions will look almost exactly like your print book, but don't forget, at the time of this writing, there isn't any coding that can force images and captions to stay together, to "not break" across a given page.  This is completely common behavior in eBooks, so don't be freaked out when it happens.
