Courtney Kidd is known as "Court" to almost everyone. She is working with her defense attorney Uncle, Henry Kidd, to prove that their wealthy New Orleans client did not start killing off all the men who had become "familiar" with his Southern Belle wife. Their client is suspected of multiple murders. Henry believes he is innocent, but Court is not so sure. Also, while working on this Orleans Parish case, "Court" is finding out about her extended family for the first time. And she is watching her back because someone is trying to stop her investigation.
